About iBrow. /EYE-brow/
iBrow is an eyebrow design studio located in DeKalb, Illinois and is owned and operated by licensed aesthetician and brow specialist Anna Gallén. It is the only beauty studio catering exclusively to brow design in the region and one of few such establishments in the United States. Stencils and wax are never used at iBrow as every client recieves a customized shaping based on the analysis of his or her features. The tweeze-only method ensures the utmost precision while respecting the delicate skin of the eyes. The aim of iBrow is to provide the Northern Illinois and Chicagoland communities the option of superior brow design services (a.k.a. eyebrow shaping) without the big-city prices.
About Anna
Anna recieved her aesthetics credentials at Chicago's University of Aesthetics in 2006 and branched into the niche field of brow design soon after. Having an eye for beauty and a rare talent in brow shaping, Anna applied for a position as Eyebrow Stylist at the renowned beauty studio, the B Spot in Chicago. After months of a rigorous selection process, she and one other aesthetician emerged as the only apprentices to eyebrow guru Rashida B., after which Anna was appointed Senior Eyebrow Stylist immediately upon hire. Anna is currently studying art at Northern Illinois University and continues her joy of designing face-flattering "arches" in her spare time.
Anna's Brow Philosophy
I believe the Everyday Brow should be designed not only with physiognomy, but lifestyle and personality in mind. The elements of desired intensity and level of upkeep are to be considered and balanced against the scientifically 'ideal' shape per an individual's facial structure and features. The Brows are thus beautified to their utmost on both a universal and individual level, enabled to best convey the subject's spiritual essence and allow for its resonance upon the physical realm.
